Types of Memmert Ovens
Universal Ovens (UF / UN)
Memmert universal ovens are Memmert’s classic appliance for temperature control and are available in a wide range of sizes. The UF models use fans to circulate air which improves uniformity.
The UN models are convection ovens and do not have fans. These may be a more ideal option if you’re worried about samples being disturbed by moving air.
Both UF and UN ovens have PLUS models (i.e. UN30plus). The primary benefit of a PLUS model is TwinDisplay, which allows the user to set up more complex operations and processes.
Paraffin Ovens (UNpa)
Our paraffin ovens are specifically designed for reliable sample preparation in the laboratory and the warming of embedding mediums like paraffin or wax. Liquid paraffin can sometimes leave an oily residue in tiny cavities. The interior chamber of our UNpa models are designed nearly gas tight to reduce the possibility of this residue being ignited or damage occurring to mechanical and electronic components.
Pass Through Ovens (UF-TS)
Just like the name, our pass through ovens are UF ovens that are built to allow objects to be passed through them. With proper customization they can be controlled automatically and can be incorporated into your production process. Reach out to us to learn more.
Vacuum Ovens (VO)
Our vacuum ovens provide rapid and gentle drying capabilities. Our customers have used them for drying food, cosmetics, clocks, books, PCBs and injection molds. We work with you to customize our vacuum ovens to meet your specific needs.
Recently, Memmert released the speed-controlled vacuum pump accessory which reduces energy consumption by up to 70%, making our vacuum ovens extremely energy efficient.
Cooled Vacuum Ovens (VOcool)
Our cooled vacuum ovens serve a wide variety of uses for our customers, from the gentle drying of bacteria and starter cultures or simulation of intercontinental flights. These low-temperature vacuum drying ovens are usually highly customized to meet our customers’ specific needs.
