Most “in-stock” items are shipped within two business days of your purchase order acknowledgment. Customized items manufactured directly from Memmert will be deliverable as soon as the manufacturer completes your order. The estimated lead time for customized products is 8-12 weeks. This lead time estimation may vary depending on the manufacturer’s “in real-time” manufacturing schedule and the mode of freight chosen, air or ocean.
Customizations on standard stock units, performed “in-house” at Memmert USA, typically will have a lead time of 2-3 weeks.
Your order will ship to you via the most cost-effective method. Parcel services will be utilized permitting that the size and weight allow. Some items are too large, or too heavy, to ship parcel. In this case, it is advantageous to follow our shipping recommendations to limit damage and the cost liabilities to you thereof. We have a network of reputable freight entities for single less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments. We also utilize the major entities such as UPS and FedEx for parcel shipments. Providing your company’s account number for LTL freight or parcel shipments for direct account billing is acceptable OR we can select for you and pre-pay and add the charges to the end invoice.
All shipments are CPT-Destination. Small items will be shipped by standard ground services and larger items will be sent by standard freight. Standard freight shipments do not include any special delivery services, i.e. liftgate, inside delivery, etc.. Such services are available for an additional cost. Expedited delivery requests may be accommodated, if feasible, for additional charges agreed upon in advance. All orders must include a complete shipping address, point of contact and phone number. Installation
Memmert products are designed to be user-friendly and can be intuitively set up without a manual. However, our manuals do come with a step-by-step guide for installation and our sales team is available for a phone or Zoom call if needed to resolve any installation issues.
