Types of Memmert Incubators
Memmert provides four different types of incubators, each with its own unique features.
Standard Incubators (IN / IF)
Our Standard Incubators provide precise and accurate temperature control. To prevent temperature overshoots, the temperature is increased within a very narrow control range and kept exactly at the setpoint value. They’re an affordable option for those who simply need a premium precise and accurate incubator and…surprise! They are on sale this summer from July 1st to September 1st.
Peltier Cooled Incubators (IPPeco)
Peltier Cooled Incubators are the most environmentally friendly and energy-saving incubators on the market. Peltier technology provides additional benefits like reduced noise and vibration. Compressor Cooled Incubators (ICP)
Compressor Cooled incubators are ideal for temperatures around zero and below. If rapid and precise alternation between heating up and cooling down times in ramp operation is required, cooled incubators with compressor cooling prove to be in peak form. For these incubators, we typically work with customers to customize them for their unique needs.
CO2 Incubators (ICO)
Often used for in-vitro fertilization, CO2 Incubators are necessary when you want more control over factors like CO2 levels, humidity, and pH levels, in addition to temperature. For all CO2 incubators, we work closely with customers to customize their incubator to meet their unique needs.
Cooled Storage Incubators (IPS)
If you need to store something for a long period of time at a constant temperature then our Cooled Storage Incubators are for you. These incubators are built with Peltier technology, making them extremely energy efficient.
